Stranded Alone in Mexico City

I didn’t plan to be alone in Mexico City.

My flight was canceled after visiting Teotihuacan, where I had just spent days climbing pyramids, facing a fear of heights, meeting new people, and stepping far outside my comfort zone.

And honestly… it felt symbolic of the past year and a half of my life.
A season of stepping into the unknown. For a long time, I played it safe. Past experiences of rejection and betrayal created unconscious narratives that sounded like:
“I can’t.”
“I’m not worthy.”
“Don’t risk it.”

So I stayed small. Controlled. Careful. But over the last year and a half, something shifted. Not overnight. In micro-moments. I started challenging the narrative and taking small steps anyway.

And from those small steps:
• The second edition of ReSoul Revolution was born (now on Audible)

• Audible: [https://lnkd.in/gWDhNR7T]
ReSoul Labs launched to help leaders regulate their nervous systems and lead more consciously [https://lnkd.in/gHWKSGSE]
• A ReSoul App is now being built with daily rituals and journal prompts

None of it came from certainty. It came from learning to trust myself in the unknown. Even stuck alone in Mexico City, I found myself surrendering instead of spiraling. I wandered without a plan, met incredible people, found hidden places I’ll never forget, and realized something important:

Freedom isn’t found in controlling everything. It’s found in trusting that you will be okay. That’s what the ReSoul Revolution is about. Not becoming someone new — but coming back to yourself through small, intentional rituals that help you rewire the brain, regulate the nervous system, and take aligned action.
You don’t need the whole path. Just the courage to take the next step.
