The Safety We Cultivate Within

I am in shock and still processing this…

Just days ago, I was standing on these very pyramids in Teotihuacan—surrounded by an incredible group of women, immersed in reflection, history, and something deeply sacred.

And yesterday…a gunman opened fire in that same place.
Lives lost. Families shattered. A space that felt so sacred—suddenly marked by violence. My heart is heavy. There’s grief. There’s anger.

And again, my sense of safety has been shaken. What I experienced at Teo was profound. We explored the pyramids, yes—but more than that, we explored ourselves. Our light. Our shadows. The stories still waiting to be revealed… and embraced.

What came up for me—so clearly—was this:
We are only truly safe within, and it is up to ourselves to cultivate that safety.
Not because the world is always safe—but because when we are anchored in ourselves, we trust who we are, how we show up, and our right to exist—fully.

The pyramids became a mirror—reflecting the masks we wear…
and the courage it takes to remove them.

✨ BELOVED TEO ✨
Are you asking us to wake up? To see the violence… the density…and choose something different? To meet it with truth— and with LOVE?

There is a concept of Justice—like the scales held evenly in balance.
What we put into the world… is reflected back.

And moments like this ask us:
Where are we out of alignment—individually and collectively?

I am so deeply grateful that our group is safe. That we got to experience the purity, the history, and the sacredness of that land together. Because that’s real too. The goodness is still there.

May we all learn to see with eyes of LOVE. May we have the courage to face what hurts—without turning away. May we bring more consciousness into a world that needs it now more than ever.

“My inner world and outer world are moving in the same direction.
And every aligned action I take is already generating what I am here to build.”
Holding prayer for those impacted. Holding light for all of us. 🤍
